Individuals looking to properly organize their business structure during their corporation’s formation process will be able to do so through the drafting of a set of corporate bylaws. This document is used to clarify the relationship of each incorporator and corporate official to the entity while putting into effect a series of rules and regulations they will be required to abide by. As this is not a legally mandatory step in incorporation, it needn’t be filed with the Tennessee Secretary of State. Instead it should be distributed to each applicable party once completed and signed.
