In the state of Ohio, the certificate used to prove that you are up to date with all filings, and that you are operating a legitimate and lawful company, is called the Certificate of Good Standing. This document can be purchased and obtained online without a registered account with the online business centre. You will be required to jump through the few hoops (detailed below), supply the $5 filing fee by credit card and simply download the PDF onto your computer. All this should take a matter of seconds. Scroll down and let’s get started.

How to Request

Step 1- First, you will be required to navigate to this webpage on the Secretary of State online portal. Once there, click on the Obtain a Certificate of Good Standing link centered in the middle of your screen.
