Upon the completion of the incorporation process, we highly recommend that all incorporators sign and adopt the corporate bylaws for their business. Doing so is not a mandatory step to establishing a corporation in the state of Indiana, however it is highly recommended as it is a valuable tool that can minimize confusion between the participating individuals. Corporate bylaws can be used to outline the board of directors meetings, track the capital contributions of all shareholders, and provide a basic outline of the corporate structure. You can find a free template below, available in MS Word and PDF, that you can use as the first step towards establishing a corporate bylaw for your newly formed corporation. Keep in mind that you should ensure an attorney reviews your corporate bylaw and once completed, copies are distributed to all incorporators.
