A partnership agreement allows for a written contract to be made between the partners within a partnership. Often times the partnership agreement will outline specific things like what percentage of the partnership is owned by whom, and generally sets the tone for how the partnership is going to be handled. While creating a partnership agreement is not a mandatory step in forming a partnership in Arizona, it is nevertheless a highly recommended aspect. Doing so will help tackle future issues that may arise between partners within the partnership and can serve as a blueprint for controlling conflicts. Once the document has been completed all partners must sign it and a copy should be given to everyone involved. A free template has been provided on this webpage in both MS Word and PDF formats.
