In accordance with ARS 10-120 to ARS 10-11909 foreign corporations have the ability to apply for the authority to operate within the state of Arizona by completing an Application for Authority C018 form. This form must be mailed to the Arizona Corporation Commission and can only be accessed through the downloading of PDF documents from the Arizona Corporation Commission website.

What you will first need to do is ensure that the name you have selected for your corporation has not already been taken, or that your name is not too similar to an entity that is already in existence. To ensure the name you have selected is fit for use, Search the Business Database. Furthermore, it is possible to reserve a name for 120 days by filing a Name Reservation application ($10).
