A name can be reserved for a corporation or limited liability company for up to 120 days before filing. This process can be done, under A.C.A. § 4-26-402, A.C.A § 4-33-402,A.C.A § 4-32-104 , through a PDF form of RN-06 or online on the Secretary of State website. A Business Entity Search may be used to research the availability of the desired company name to ensure that it hasn’t already been taken. The filing fee associated with a name reservation is $25 (paper) and $22.50 (online).
How to Reserve (Online)
Step 1- Online reservation can be achieved by navigating to this webpage and selecting the type of entity you’d like to reserve a name for (domestic corporation, domestic LLC, foreign corporation, foreign LLC).
Step 2- Select the filing act and submit the proposed name into the appropriate field. It must be completely original within the state of Arkansas.
Step 3- Provide the full address and name of both the applicant/owner as well as the submitter contact information.
Step 4- You must acknowledge that you understand the punishment for singing a false document by checking off the box above the Signature field before signing.
Step 5- You will be asked to review the information you’ve submitted before being presented with the payment options for the $22.50 filing fee (either eCheck, through a subscription to the website or by credit card).

- Type of entity

Step 3- Attach with the form a check made out to the Arkansas Secretary of State for $25 and mail both items to the below address.
